Combing the speed and reliability of
Ruger's 10/22 semi-automatic .22 rimfire action with the
accuracy and custom features available only from Brown Precision.
Featuring a classic style Brown
Precision lightweight fiberglass or Kevlar stock, the rifle is
built with a high comb that facilitates shooting with
scopes. The absence of a cheekpiece accommodates either
right hand or left hand shooters, while the stock's flat
bottom, 1¾"-wide forearm is designed for maximum comfort
in either offhand or rest shooting.
Because the Custom Team Challenger is
custom built, any length of pull up to 15" can be
ordered. The rifle is equipped with "Uncle
Mike's" QD sling swivel studs.
The Ruger 10/22 action on which the
Custom Team Challenger is built has been re-worked and
features an extended magazine release, a simplified bolt
release and finely tuned trigger.
All barrels installed by Brown, whether
chrome-moly or stainless steel, are custom length Shilen match
grade .920" diameter straight barrels or, at customer
request, lightweight tapered barrels. All barrels have
a.22 Long rifle match grade chamber and custom crown.
