A 'Lighter' 500 Yard Varmint Rig
Basically the same as the Pro Varminter, but with a lighter overall
weight for carrying. These are primarily used for coyote, fox, etc. when
you don't want to carry a really heavy varmint rifle, but still have all
the accuracy of the Pro Varminter.
Built on either the Remington 700 or Model 7 action, the Light-Varminter
features a hand fitted Shilen Match Grade Heavy Benchrest barrel custom
chambered in your favorite standard or wildcat varmint caliber.
Custom-bedded in a choice of Brown Precision's Classic Varmint Special
or
Hunter Bench stock configuration, the Light Varminter
is a full-blown custom rifle that can be specifically tailored to your
shooting needs.

Light Varminter Standard Features:
- Custom-tuned Remington 700 (available in left or
right hand) or Model 7 (right hand only) action
- Custom chambering for virtually any standard or wildcat
cartridge
- Shilen Match Grade Benchrest stainless steel barrel
(bright or bead blasted) with custom crown, hand-fitted to action
- Barrel length and contour: Customer's choice
- Brown Precision Custom Fiberglass stock in
Classic Varmint Special or Hunter Bench

- Front and Rear QD Sling Swivels
- Custom stock length of pull
- Choice of recoil pad
- Trigger tuned to a crisp pull (customer specifies weight)
- Choice of stock finish colors: black, grey, brown or green
- Weight: The weight of this rifle will vary depending on
customer's choice of barrel, action and other options. We can make
it weight whatever you want!
